We once built crates for an entire rooftop full of air-conditioning units, ventilation fans and air vents. And we did it on short notice. The fans and HVAC units were dropped off at our shop and we constructed the crates and had them on a truck in less than 24 hours.
Santa Barbara Pack & Post makes every effort to maintain environmental consciousness, including using biodegradable and recyclable packing materials.
This month, to show our continued support for maintaining a clean environment and on the heels of the April 15 tax season deadline, Pack & Post is celebrating Earth Day by offering free shredding services on April 22 to the residents of Santa Barbara, Goleta and Carpinteria.

One of the many reasons tourists love to visit Santa Barbara, besides the amazing beaches and mild weather, is to go on the wine tours through Santa Barbara and the Santa Ynez Valley. However, in many cases our customers are unsure of how to safely store the wine they have accumulated safely for the trip home. Fortunately, Santa Barbara Pack and Post carriers material specifically designed for the safe storage and transport of wine bottles.
Do you have large or antique furniture you need moved? We can help! In addition to shipping fragile items, fine art and technology, Santa Barbara Pack and Post has experience moving furniture, even for small to large moves.
Recently, Santa Barbarans enjoyed the free shredding service offered by one of the local banks. This is a great way to get rid of all the paperwork we seem to accumulate over the years, but unfortunately, the free shredding service only happens once in a while, and gets full fast. No worries! Santa Barbara Pack and Post offers shredding Monday through Friday, 9am to 5:30pm.
It's tax season everyone! And with tax season comes deadlines for filing those taxes we all enjoy. Be sure to send in your paperwork early; many times, tax documents are addressed to PO Boxes. This means that you can only ship your taxes via the Postal Service, rather than FedEx or UPS because PO Boxes do not accept mail from other carriers. And that also means that if you are sending your documents at the last minute you will not be able to overnight them - the fastest way to send your taxes will be Priority Mail, which has a two day transit time at minimum, if you're located in California.
A large portion of our customers need their packages to arrive at their destinations quickly, so the regular Postal Service or Ground options may not suffice. This is no problem for Pack and Post! If you need to send something overnight, 2-day, or 3-day, you want to come to us - our express rates are the best in town, 20-30% less than at the FedEx and UPS stores. Be sure to come by before 3pm for FedEx Express and before 4:30pm for UPS Express, and we'll take care of the rest. Any questions about overnight shipping? Give us a call or send us an email, and we'll be more than happy to help!
